Where do I find my car radio code?
Check the car’s paperwork first: the code is often on a small card kept with the owner’s manual, or written in the service book. If it isn’t there, you can get it here: from the radio’s serial number for Renault, Dacia and Ford, or from the VIN for Renault and Dacia.
Can I get a radio code without the serial number?
For Ford, the serial number is required. For Renault and Dacia you can use your VIN (chassis number) instead. The code arrives by email, usually within a few hours.
What if the code doesn't work?
A wrong code is rare when the serial number is entered correctly. If a code doesn’t work, write to us and we’ll check it. With the priority option, if you don’t get the code or it doesn’t work on your radio, we refund you.
My screen says "LOCKED" or "WAIT"—what do I do?
If you see “WAIT” or a countdown, you have exceeded the maximum entry attempts. To reset this, leave the ignition and radio turned on for 30–60 minutes. Once the timer expires, the screen will allow you to enter the correct radio PIN again.
How long does it take to receive my code?
Serial number lookups return the code instantly. VIN requests arrive by email, usually within a few hours.
