How to Find Your Dacia Lodgy Radio Serial Number or VIN
Before using the calculator, find your radio's serial number or your VIN. There are two ways:
The Radio Serial Label Method
The best place to find your 4-character precode is on the radio itself. This can be on any kind of radio from traditional CD/MP3 Bluetooth stereos to LG MediaNav / Evolution touchscreen displays.
- Standard Radios: Try pressing and holding buttons 1 and 6 simultaneously. On classic button units, the precode often shows on the display.

- Where it is located: The white barcode sticker is on the top of the metal casing, on the side, or on the rear heatsink.

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Method
If your car still has its original factory radio and you don't want to take it out of the dashboard, you can use the VIN instead. It's a 17-character chassis number. This works for every Lodgy, including the Stepway.
- Where it is located (Primary): Open the driver's door. Look at the bottom base of the B-pillar door frame (white manufacturer sticker / plate).
- Alternative Locations: You can also find the VIN stamped on the lower corner of the windshield or printed on your vehicle registration document.

How to Enter Your Dacia Lodgy Radio Code
Follow the steps below for your radio model to enter your PIN and unlock the stereo.
Found on modern Lodgy Stepway, Laureate, or other versions with the factory touchscreen navigation system.
System Boot
Switch on the car ignition and power on your MediaNav display.
Lock Status Prompt
The screen will show "Authentication key required".
Digital Keypad Entry
Use the on-screen keypad to type your 4-digit PIN.
Confirm Action
Tap "OK" in the bottom right corner of the screen. The system then loads your maps and media menus.
Commonly fitted in base trims and Ambiance versions of the Dacia Lodgy.
Initial State
Turn on the radio. The display will show "CODE" or "0000".
Digit Alignment Sequence
Press Button 1 repeatedly until the first digit of your security PIN appears correctly on the display screen.
Complete the 4-Digit PIN
Use Buttons 2, 3 and 4 to set the remaining three digits in order.
Hold to Unblock
Press and HOLD Button 6 (or Button 5 on some faceplates) for a few seconds. A beep confirms the radio is unlocked.
