In short (Summary)

This page explains what data RadioCodeAuto collects, why, and what your choices are. In short:

  • We collect only what we need to prepare your code: the radio serial number or VIN, and your email.
  • We do not sell your data.
  • Google Analytics runs only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • You can ask us to delete your data at any time: support@radiocodeauto.com.

1. Data we collect

  • Your request: radio serial number or VIN, your email address, the code we send and the time of the request.
  • Payment (priority option): the payment is handled by Buy Me a Coffee. We receive a payment confirmation, never your card details.
  • Messages: emails and chat messages you send us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and pages visited, from server logs, security tools and, if you accept, Google Analytics.

2. Why we use it

  • To process your request and send you the code. This is necessary to provide the service.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interest).
  • To understand how the site is used, with Google Analytics, only if you consent.

3. Who receives it

We use service providers to run the site: hosting, email delivery, payment (Buy Me a Coffee), live chat (Chatway), analytics (Google), security tools and tools that notify us of new requests. They process data only to provide their service. Some are based outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States; in that case, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data.

Anti-bot check. When you use a code field or a request form, your browser loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells people apart from automated programs. To run the check, Cloudflare receives your IP address, your browser's user agent and its TLS fingerprint. We use it only to protect the service from automated abuse. Cloudflare also uses these signals to improve its own bot detection; details are in Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.

4. How long we keep it

We keep requests only as long as we need them to process the order and handle support, and we delete them periodically. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

5. Your rights

  • Access, correct or delete your data.
  • Restrict or object to its use.
  • Receive a copy of your data.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (for example for analytics cookies).

To use any of these rights, write to support@radiocodeauto.com. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. We use:

  • Necessary: they remember your language, protect the site and store your cookie choice. They work without your consent.
  • Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) shows us which pages are visited. These cookies last up to 2 years.
  • Third-party services: the chat widget (Chatway), Buy Me a Coffee and Trustpilot may set their own cookies when they load.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the cookie settings button on the site, or by deleting cookies in your browser.
